As part of blogging, I know posting passages from the Bible will be a great start to share God’s word to everyone. I want to share God’s kindness ’cause i am so blessed and I can’t contain it.

So for today’s food for the soul, I want to share Psalms 23 to you. It is one of my favorite passages in the Bible. I first heard this when I was on my sixth grade. We had a speech choir in our school and my adviser, Mrs. Estefana Lira, had chosen this piece. And by God’s grace we won first place in the competition.  Thanks be to God!

From that day, I never forget Psalms 23. I always love to recite this whenever I’m in our church or leading a prayer in a classroom. Aside from that thing, there is a greater reason why I fell in love with this passage, it is because David showed what faith can do. He told the world how God became faithful and will always be faithful to us. His unconditional love and unending grace will always stand the test of time.

Spend time reflecting on His word. Because, I know that God has something to reveal in your life just like what He did to me.

1The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
